About BrushGuard Reviews
Last updated: August 2026
We are a small independent review site covering one narrow category: oral-care hygiene devices. We buy or obtain the products, use them in a normal household routine, and publish what happened.

How we test
Each device is used in place of whatever it replaces for a minimum of six weeks by a real household — not a lab bench. We record daily whether the device was actually used, because adherence is the variable that decides whether a hygiene product delivers anything at all.
We also inspect build quality, verify that the UV-C lamp cuts out when the enclosure is opened, time the advertised cycle, and check that common electric brush heads physically fit.
How we score
Scores out of 10 combine real-world adherence (30%), enclosure and UV-C safety design (25%), format and portability (20%), verified owner feedback (15%) and value for the price (10%).
What we will not claim
We are not a medical authority and nothing here is medical advice. A sanitizer does not treat gum disease, whiten teeth or replace brushing, flossing, or replacing a brush head every three months. Where a manufacturer makes a claim we cannot verify, we say so.
How we make money
We earn affiliate commissions when readers buy through links on this site. This never affects rankings or scores, and we do not accept payment for placement.
